Statistical Enquiry

For the past two weeks the children in Room 16 have been learning about graphing. This week each child posed a question they wanted to find out about. They then carried out a survey of Room 16, collecting data in a tally chart. This data was then displayed in a bar graph.
Here is Ariel explaining what he did.

    Hi Ariel,

    I enjoyed hearing you explain what you have been doing in maths. I wonder if you would get the same results if you surveyed the Year 6 students in Room 11. You are more than welcome to come and ask them!

    I think Dogs are quite cool but there are a lot more animals that are still going inside my head.I loved your graph that you drew too!Alot of bright colours!

    Hi Ariel,

    I can see that dogs are super popular in your class ! I would have picked dogs as well, however, if there was an orca, then I would have chosen that !
